The project-based anatomy course of university assistant professor Dániel Horváth can be seen as a 21st-century addition to Jenő Barcsay’s long-standing artistic anatomy education. We present a selection of the best of these two courses, from the works of the university students. The aim of the course was the visual interpretation and understanding of the human body, which, however, resulted in works that were not studio-based, but autonomous, self-contained, free from genre restrictions.
