    The aim of the exhibition titled Touchdown is to showcase how skateboarding has evolved into an alternative way of transport, a landmark of youth culture, and why skateboarding can be considered an urban art form. All of the exhibitors are die-hard skateboarders, and everything exhibited is related to skateboarding: videos, fanzines, photos, illustrations, documentaries and installations.

    The creation of the perfect man is represented by the works "Eve" and "Adam and Eve" by István Máriás (Horror Pista), while "Tomorrow's Eve" appears in Tamás Dobos’s photo-pair Nüx 1-2.

    Álmos Jaschik, a Hungarian graphic artist and art educator's 130th birth anniversary memorial exhibition.
    At the exhibition showcase Jaschik Álmos’ and his disciples’ artworks, as well as the Jaschik Álmos Secondary School of Arts’ students’ and their teachers’ works.

  • Iron Egg – The Making of

    Traub Victoria’s Iron Egg, an animated film, won funding at the MTVA Macskássy 2014 Contest last year. The film is a story about a little boy who gets lost and finds his way home through the forest of singing trees and the realm of the swamp monster. At the exhibition, in addition to screening Iron Egg, the film’s planning stages were also displayed: a series of visual and character designs and details from the storyboard.

    Budapest is both a natural and a built environment. What is beautiful, delightful, and what is it that we can be proud of? And what makes you sad or ashamed? These questions are reflected in high school students’ photos at Deák 17 Gallery.

    Right from a very young age it is important to establish nature-conscious thinking. This statement is reflected in the selection from children's drawings, submitted for competitions run by the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Association in recent years. About 70 pieces of drawing by children from kindergartens and primary schools featured at the exhibition at Deák 17 Gallery.

    The exhibition showed in many aspects how our everyday urban environment can be formed, converted.
    The exhibition showcased mainly artworks that focused on the functions of the city, on the urban space, on the daily life of residents and the relationship between the built and natural environment.
